What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a trackable link to a retailer, manufacturer or other seller. When a qualifying purchase is made after using one of those links, the seller may pay Saturday Gear Co. a commission. The price you pay is generally not increased because the link is an affiliate link.
How this affects our recommendations
Affiliate availability does not determine whether a product deserves a recommendation. Our goal is to explain the tradeoffs that matter, identify who a product or category makes sense for, and help readers avoid buying more—or less—equipment than they actually need.
We may cover products or categories even when no affiliate relationship is available. We also may decide that a product is not a good fit despite an available commission.
Prices and availability
Retail prices, promotions, inventory and product specifications can change. Always confirm the current price, included accessories, warranty terms and specifications with the seller or manufacturer before purchasing.
Sponsored content and free products
